Dedicated to Italian lighting brand Flos, this Turin showroom brings together lighting design and the spaces in which it is experienced. The setting presents the fixtures as both functional sources of light and objects with their own sculptural presence.
Commissioned by Traiano Luce 73, the photographic project explores the relationship between the displayed pieces, the architecture and the light they produce. Overall views establish the organisation of the showroom, while closer compositions follow the forms, finishes and details of individual designs.
The series balances the character of the products with the atmosphere of the interiors, showing how lighting shapes a space as well as furnishing it.
